- Sedim river, Kedah
- The Sedim Recreation Park is located near the Kulim High Tech Industrial Park.
- Sungai Sedim has a 15 km stretch that has a fast flowing waters and rapids which are excellent for white water sports activities.
- The Sedim River has 24 challenging rapids along the river namely the Salak Drop, Triple Rapid, Kasai Drop, Wall Drop, Lower Head Dam, Kawah Rapid, Jelutong Rapid, Rodeo Rapid, Slip Lip Rapid and Cyclone Hole.
There are 3 main special fun things you can experience at Sedim river white water rafting.
- 1st off, there’s the special tubing session before the main event where one solos through some small rapids, including one that they called the “RODEO”… a washing machine extravaganza designed to spin you topsy turvy.
- 2ndly, there’s the ‘water confidence’ training which have you jumping from an approximately one storey high rocky outcrop into the river below.
- 3rdly, a grand climax awaits your unsuspecting group when the guides sit all of you inside the raft without any oars, then push you off a sheer cliff/rapid, plunging a good distance to the cold waters below!
